Wretch
Wretch
A roguelike card game that's difficult to beat. It uses a barely modified rules system of the game Scoundrel.
Mobile Friendly.
Game Modes
- Classic
- Pretty much classic Scoundrel rules, but with the ability to discard weapons.
- Moderate
- A bit more forgiving with potions and weapons.
- Baby
- A shameful experience.
Credits
- Zach Gage and Kurt Bieg, for the original Scoundrel rules.

Game Engine
This game was built with Sylph.jsx, an engine that I developed to write games with fine-grained reactivity.
AI Disclosure
Generative open weight models were used for some visuals. I'm personally interested in exploring the space that AI opens up for expression in the world of game development. A lot of hard work still went into this game as does all of my projects. LLMs are tools that empower us to do great things.
